Whether you're looking to expand your horizons with some fresh vertical footage, or you simply want your preferred choice reinforced, here's where to ski and snowboard in Calgary.

 

Canada Olympic Park

WinSport's Canada Olympic Park (88 Canada Olympic Road SW) The legacy facility from the 1988 Winter Olympics is right down the road from Trinity Hills (1.8 kilometres, or a 4-minute drive) – you're practically there already! Whether you're new to the sport, want to enjoy a few quick night skiing runs after work, or you're looking to hone your skills before heading on to bigger peaks, Canada Olympic Park takes the gold for convenience. Open for the 2020 ski season November 27th.

Nakiska

Built for the 1988 Winter Olympics' alpine skiing events, Nakiska Ski Area (2 Mt Allan Drive,

Kananaskis) is the closest Rocky Mountain resort to Calgary. You can be at the base of the mountain in less than an hour from Trinity Hills. Spend more time on the slopes and less time in the car. Open weekend skiing for November 2020. Full 2020 season opening date to be announced.

Mount Norquay

Mount Norquay (#2 Mt Norquay Rd, Banff) has been home base for world-class skiing since 1926. Choose from steep, challenging runs, well-groomed beginner runs, or master new tricks at the terrain park. Norquay also offers half-day lift tickets, afternoon skiing by the hour, and weekend night skiing. It's the closest Rocky Mountain resort to Banff townsite, so all the apres-ski action awaits you as well. Now open for the 2020 ski season! 

Sunshine Village

If you enjoy stunning scenery, exceptional conditions, a long season and seemingly endless skiable terrain, then Sunshine Village (1 Sunshine access Road, Banff) is for you. Located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, skiing simply doesn't get any better than this world-class resort. It's less than an hour and a half from Trinity Hills and only 15 minutes from Banff. Now open for the 2020 ski season! 

Lake Louise

Lake Louise Ski Resort (1 Whitehorn Rd, Lake Louise) is perhaps the most famous ski resort in all of Alberta – and for very good reasons. The scenery is breathtaking, the conditions are as close to perfect as you could hope for, and the legendary Lake Louise Village and iconic Chateau Lake Louise are close by. It doesn't get any better. Now open for the 2020 ski season!
